Great S&T (innovation) Policies Unleash Human Agency - What, Why and How | Dr.Dr. René von Schomberg

I hope that citizens can become actors of change rather than only be subject to change when it comes to innovation...(Today) we are only consumers most of the time but we can become producers with new technology. And the question is whether our societies allow this further autonomy of the people to facilitate these things or do we remain dependent on either the state or big companies and be subject to change.
— René von Schomberg, Senior Research Fellow, Kate Hamburger Kolleg, International Centre for Advanced Studies: Cultures of Research, RWTH University of Aachen, Germany - 2022

In this episode of Responsible Innovation 100, René discusses why great innovation policies unleash human agency - and how this relates to trust in society.
